Happy Christmas

Well there's another Christmas over, is it me or do they come every four months or so? Any way it sure seems like it. This time of year always seems to bring out the soppy films and the tear jerker drama's, it makes me wonder what the TV producers are thinking when they put their programs together. I don't think they have in mind the real meaning of Christmas and the fact that we must all be feeling so blessed by God because he decided to come down from heaven to eventually die for us. Probably that we are so fed up of spending time with the family that we are just so close to tears.

We can look forward to the new year which will be upon us soon, and see how long we can keep our resolutions. This year I have decided to make mine as easy as possible, I resolve to do things in God's strength not mine, ha that's an easy one he says! I wonder?

Every Year our Church Leader, Tim, gives us all a New Year text card and our text for this year is verse 5 from Psalm 16, from the GNB: 'You, Lord, are all I have, and You give me all I need; my future is in Your hands.' That much I know is true, so if all else fails I will rest in that!

BTW I want to thank everyone for their help with the Bowling Night at Electric Bowl which we had in November, it was amazing and God blessed it because of your faith and prayers. Let us not rest there, the Lord will inspire some more, come on Lord! Check out the Photo Gallery
